As my Australian followers may know, the Hawkesbury District is currently flooding. We are out of the flood zone, but we went for a drive today to two spots to get some pics. The SES man let Josh and I walk down to Yarramundi to get some pictures. I have taken some screen shots from google earth so you know what it looked like before the flooding. Sorry the screen shots are not great, but they show you the landmarks in the pictures to compare.
In the afternoon we went to Devlin Rd (for any locals who know the area) and got a few more shots. As you can see, there is usually a car park and a turning bay at the end of the road.
My goodness, that sure is flooding alright. Looks like it's everywhere at the moment. Don't have any control over Mother Nature do we. Just have to hope that not too many people are affected by it. That not too many people are flooded out. I really feel for people that are affected by the floods.
